Hereditary Chiefs’ relationship with Enbridge

Larry Patsey, Earl Muldon, and Roy Wilson participated in the approval of the partnership with Enbridge in April 2009. It is now apparent they have changed their minds as of Monday, December 5, 2011. It would be nice if they explained this change to the 65 hereditary chiefs.

The parties to the agreement were the Gitxsan Hereditary Chiefs and Northern Gateways Pipeline Limited Partnership, dated April 7, 2009. At that meeting the chiefs appointed Elmer Derrick as their signatory to this agreement. Enbridge handed over $90,000 to the chiefs on the spot.
