The longhouse and the spirit of our people stand tall, looking skyward to our forbearers.
Within the longhouse earth, water, sun and moon, animal and man, all joined in the web of life.
The salmon and the spoon provide food for all, and remind us of our connection to the land and all the living creatures with whom we share it.
The faces represent the Gitxsan people, all a part of the same fabric, sharing in the same traditions, language and unique world view.
The longhouse, like the land it rests upon, is the heart of who we are.
We are together under one roof, our ancestors and children looking on, our traditions guiding the way for the next generation.
The Gitxsan will exist as they have always done, in harmony.
